The Maxi Metals Pin Style Post Support offers a strong and reliable solution for securing timber posts into concrete footings or bolted down to them.
Featuring a central pin, this support allows for easy installation while keeping the post elevated to reduce moisture exposure and prolong timber life.
Constructed from galvanised steel, the Maxi Metals Pin Style Post Support delivers excellent durability and corrosion resistance.
Installation recommendations:
Stirrups may be fixed either to to reinforced concrete or embedded in wet concrete.
Maxi Metal Anchor recommendations:
a) Use galvanised 10mm bolts.
b) Use galvanised coach screws 50x100mm into side grain and 75x100 into end grain.
c) Base to extend at least 100mm into wet concrete footing to provide sufficient uplift prevention.
d) Base concrete and fxings to concrete must provide sufficient resistance to the uplift forces
