Who is behind Notorious Tools?
Notorious Tools was founded by Jake, a qualified carpenter with hands-on experience in the construction industry. Jake has worked across a wide range of projects and later with Carland Constructions, a well-known Passive House and High Performance builder in Melbourne. Notorious Tools is built on real trade knowledge, not guesswork.
Notorious Tools started as a side hustle while Jake was still on the tools. After a sustained back injury forced him to step away from full-time carpentry, he made the difficult decision to hang up the belt. Rather than leave the industry entirely, he doubled down on his passion for it and Notorious Tools to continue supporting tradies with quality construction hardware, fixing, fastener, and building solutions.

How much does shipping cost?
$15 Standard Delivery - Authority to leave at front door.
$20 Signature Required Delivery
Both options include most of our range, however, have some exclusions such as; Pro Clima Membranes, Dangerous Goods (with some exclusions), oversize or bulky items and select delivery locations which will be determined on an order basis (individual email or phone communication will be made if your order is excluded).
What is your returns policy?
We have a 30 calendar days return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please note that re-stocking fees apply and return shipping charges are at your expense.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
