Probably The best electric riveters on the market
I’ve been using the element 5 for well over a month now and I’ve definitely had pros but also cons towards using the element 5s If you’re wondering should I spend over 1000 dollars on the element 5s you have to be thinking will I be using this tool for, I’m a commercial roofer so I use these quite a lot I’ve used other electric riveters like the Milwaukee ones but they seemed to jam, the element 5 have never jammed on me!!! They work like a dream here some pros and cons Pros Easy to use Light weight Doesn’t jam up Can get into smaller places compared to other electric riveters Comes with a carry case and two battery’s and charger The Element 5 unit is pretty durable! As I’ve dropped it from 1 story Cons Battery will break if dropped from 1 story but just needs some glue just don’t drop them Awkward hooking the element 5 to my belt with my U hook Trigger doesn’t have a lock in feature this is annoying because it doesn’t have something stopping it from just activating as the trigger is big and on my hook it just pressed against me it’s not bad it’s just a little annoying Plastic catcher ( I feel like when I dropped my element 5s if I had the catch can on it would’ve been obliterated) Trigger has to be held down the whole time complete the pop for the rivet instead of just press the button and does it itself Anyway my conclusion is these are my opinions everyone has their own but I would say they’re 100 percent worth getting! Keep in mind though you’re not going to be replacing your Manuel riveters so keep them on you I was going to give the elements a 5/5 but can’t because the battery’s can break so easily where I’ve dropped Milwaukee battery off factories height and survived these would not I’d dropped from that height.
